The Jersey Shore cast is now bad for business. The Mayor of Seaside Heights was happy at Snooki’s drunken mess last weekend because she got them all kinds of free PR. The rest of the town, however, isn’t so happy with them.

People are flocking to Seaside Heights, but not to spend money. They want to catch a glimpse of taping.
Locals claim that film crews consistently block the entrance of local storefronts and that the show creates crowds who aren’t shopping, but hoping for a glimpse of the cast.
“No one knew who (the cast was) last year,” said an employee of a store near Shore Stop, where some of the cast, including Pauly D, have jobs. “The mobs run after the film crews.”
Hmmm…those people would have to buy something during the day while they wait, wouldn’t they? A little food, a drink or two? Do you think the businesses are complaining for no reason?
