Star reports Liam was getting cozy with a gorgeous blonde named Katy at the Shorebreak Hotel in Huntington Beach, Calif., on August 7.
An insider tells the rag, “She and a girlfriend approached him at the bar,” “Girls were fawning over him all night, and he was clearly loving the attention, but he really took a liking to her.” Liam didn’t hide his interest in Katy and invited her and her friends to join him and his buddies.
“They were all throwing back beers and having a great time,” “Later, he suggested that they all go back to the Doubletree hotel, where they were staying, to keep the party going.”
At the hotel, the gang continued to booze it up — and Liam continued to woo Katy. He also exchanged numbers with Katy before she left and “promised to call.” Noting that they “definitely had a strong connection.”
