Madonna turned 52 today and rumor has it her birthday party was completely boring. The Material Girl has softened in her old age, and now that she’s marching bravely into her fifties, all her wild antics of yesteryear take a backseat to (what some would say) boring and almost lifeless behavior.

Madonna had planned on a nice grown-up dinner at a private club in London called the Shoreditch House, and it turned out to be super boring, according to those who attended. In fact, one member of the party said it was more like a wake then a birthday bash.
“There was barely any music or laughing coming from the party, it was like a wake. We thought her boyfriend, Jesus Luz, might have set up the decks for a dance, but it was very stuffy and serious. Pharrell Williams was supposed to have turned up, which would at least have raised the bar a bit on her lame guestlist.“And Madge was gone by midnight out the back door. It was a bit sad.”
Hm. Well, it was on a Sunday and hasn’t Madonna been pretty tame for years now? Wouldn’t it be a bit inappropriate if she was cavorting about getting wasted and dancing on bar tables?
