Michael Douglas was recently diagnosed with throat cancer. Douglas, who is 65, has hit a health bump. The actor had a tumor in his throat and it was diagnosed as cancerous. His rep alerted the presses today, saying Douglas is expected to make a speedy and full recovery.

As far as treatment is concerned, Douglas will undergo eight weeks of radiation and chemotherapy. Douglas says he’s optimistic, while his rep refused to divulge anymore info to the press.
We have no idea how long he’s had the tumor, what kind of cancer it might be or when treatment will begin.
This has been a rocky year for Michael Douglas. While things seem to be going well with his wife Catherine Zeta Jones, his son Cameron was sentences to five years in prison this April after an arrest after dealing large amounts of cocaine, heroin and meth.
