Chelsea Handler got a slew of bad reviews after hosting last night’s MTV Video Music Awards. The 35-year-old comedian was tapped to host the awards show after a fairly successful run as host of her own show, Chelsea Lately, on the E! channel.

Unfortunately, we may not be seeing Chelsea Handler hosting the Oscars anytime soon. Her reviews were…well, bad.
The New York Times said she was “one of the worst hosts in the show’s history…purposefully out-of-touch, with brief, alarming flashes of off-color racial humor” and everyone’s least favorite celebrity blogger Perez Hilton tweeted that Chelsea Handler sucked as host.
In response, Chelsea replied.
“oh, f**k off. I had a blast and the show awesome last night. Bomb? Your life is a bomb.”
Perez?
“And who’d you blow to get the VMA hosting gig? I’m more than happy with my bomb life. It’s da bomb.com! xo”
