George Michael is going to prison. After being pulled over for this past fourth of July in London with a possession of two marijuana joints after crashing into a photography store, George Michael is headed to jail for four weeks. Wowza. It actually happened.

This is the second time in two years that George Michael was caught with drugs. In the summer of 2008 he was arrested for possession of marijuana and crack cocaine. In 2007 he was also arrested while driving under the influence.
George Michael will spend four weeks in prison and another four weeks under a probation type of supervision.
And why – I ask – has Pete Doherty not received a similar fate? Or Amy Winehouse for that matter?
