Jersey Shore cast members snub the press at the MTV Music Awards. While stars are trying to make nice and give interviews while walking the red carpet, the Jersey Shore gang – well, most of them – were too busy to talk. They smoked right on by the people who made them popular. The only exceptions were Sammi and Deena.

Sammi and Deena stopped to talk, but were limited on what they could talk about. Why bother then?
At the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, the cast of “Jersey Shore” had only just begun their ascent into the pop culture stratosphere. Now, in the midst of Season 2 of the popular reality show, it appears some of the guidos and guidettes think they’re too important to do interviews.
We were looking forward to chatting with the overly tan cast on the white carpet at the VMAs on Sunday, but were sadly snubbed by nearly every one of our favorites: Snooki, JWOWW, Pauly D., the Situation, Ronnie and Vinny.
Do you think the others snubbed the press by choice or by direction from MTV? I think it was some of both…and Snooki probably couldn’t talk about anything since she gets herself in trouble!
