The Jersey Shore is completely fake. An inside source from the popular MTV show says that everything you see on ‘The Jersey Shore’ is the work of careful planning, script-writing and combing the universe for the right people to bring on.

For example? All of Snooki’s boyfriends. The source says they’re all hired to come on and woo the pint-sized fireball.
“Everything you see is all well scripted by a whole team of people,” said one producer connected with the series. The situations, the arrests, the cheating, everything is planned. Sammi and Ronnie are still together, Snooki’s ‘boyfriends’ have all been planted, and the amazing one-liners you hear from The Situation are all given to him behind the scenes. We have to stick to a script or it would just get boring… The only thing that is real is when outsiders at different clubs get involved.”
This sounds pretty par for the course of any MTV show. Afterall, The Hills and The City are both largely scripted, too.
Does this make you want to watch The Jersey Shore any less?

It’s kind of obvious, though… have anyone on the show EVER acknowledged the presence of the camera crew? Never. They NEVER look into the camera by accident, nobody on their outside ever thinks twice about the camera crew, noone ever stops and stares, nothing. It’s pretty obvious this is a fake show.
It’s scripted, but masquerading as a reality series?
Why dont they come up with a REAL drama instead? I mean have they gotten so stuck for ideas in Hollywood that they have to resort to making FAKE reality shows?!?!?!?!?!?
It’s the toilet of television – you got a world of teens and 20-24′s who are ACHING to make fools of themselves on television, and they need to SCRIPT this shit???

i honestly believe it is not ALL scripted. but i do believe there is some guide lines and/or direction. if it was totally scripted some things wouldnt happen that do. the people at the clubs and all around would know and see the set, there for it would be all over the news and mtv that it is fake. but only if u really search for it u find pages that say it is all fake. dont be fooled its not all real but its not all fake !
@Hiro Orika hahaha you can’t be serious ofcourse they look at the camera they just edit those bits out I can’t believe you would even say that and this is a load of s*** anyway jersey shore is not scripted maybe the produces manipulate the situations but that has nothing to do with the cast haters
if it was REAL there would be a crowd around the jersey shore cast, because they are famous and then have fans just like any other tv star
I actually like Jersey Shore….. You know why? Because I can’t stop laughing at them, not because they’re funny, cool or whatever, but because they THINK they’re funny, cool, da bomb….. with they’re fist pumps…..how stupid is that…… the thing I hate about jersey shore is that people of my age watch the f*cking show and think it’s the life everybody wants (getting drunk, partying.etc) when actually It drains your life!
I just find the show entertaining.. I don’t want to believe its scripted, or at least all compeletly scripted because it would ruin it for me :|
I think it’s real for the most part. That they probably do edit a lot out, like maybe fans because its suppose to be a reality show, not them as famous. Also maybe when they look at the cameras and if the crew gets in the way.. but who actually knows.
