Michael Douglas revealed his throat cancer is at Stage 4! Douglas appearred on “The Late Show With David Letterman” last night and broke the shocking news.

Michael, 65, is in New York City promoting his new flick, “Wall Street 2,” He looks a bit thin but pretty good considered he has just had a week of radiation and chemotherapy.
Douglas said he had only find out about his cancer three weeks ago that’s right when he found out he was gonna be Letterman’s show.
Douglas: “It’s a Stage IV, which is intense, so they’ve got to go at it,”
Letterman: “Now when you said Stage IV, I heard someone gasp,” “Now, is stage 4 where you want to be or where you not want to be?”
Douglas: “Um, no,” “No, you like to be down at stage one.”
Douglas acknowledged his particular type of cancer is caused by alcohol and drinking.
Douglas: “But it has not — the big thing you’re always worried about is it spreading,” “So I am head and neck. I am above the neck, so nothing’s gone down, and the expectations are good.”
Douglas said his chances of recovery are 80 percent “and with certain hospitals and everything, it does improve.”
Letterman said at the end of the interview, “Wow, boy, I feel like I want to do something for you,” “Can I do something for you?”
Douglas: “Ahh, give me a hug,”
Wow, that’s heavy. I really hope Michael gets through this. Life is ever so precious. Let’s all pray for a speedy recovery for Michael.
