Paris Hilton was detained in Japan. Hilton was scheduled to promote her handbag line with her sister Nicky in Japan today but her plans hit a snag when the Japanese authorities wouldn’t let her enter the country due to her recent cocaine arrest in Las Vegas.

Hilton was under contract to travel to Tokyo and open a store in Jakarta, Indonesia as well as traveling all over Asia on business. According to the source, the Japanese have very strict drug laws and don’t take lightly to things like cocaine arrests. Her rep released this statement:
