Reason for their reconciliation: Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are broke. It seems that a book deal, exclusive picture deals and a reality TV show don’t get you enough money if you don’t spend it wisely. I guess they are the products of their own making!

Heidi and Spencer made a bit of money from The Hills, so where did it all go?
the ‘Hills’ stars have run into such serious money problems, they’ve even had to flee their Malibu home after being unable to pay the rent.
Now the reality couple, who were snapped frolicking and kissing on the beach this week, have moved into one of Spencer’s mum’s beach houses.
A source revealed, “The truth is that they are cash-strapped right now and their only real form of income these days is from set-up paparazzi photographs.
“But the U.S. magazines are not really that interested in them anymore and they are becoming increasingly difficult to deal with.
“A lot of the editors know that the recent split story was a complete sham and they realize that there readers can see through it all now too.
“The reality is that they earned a lot of money but did not invest it wisely, spent way too much, and now they are in trouble.”
1 – Is anyone surprised? 2 – Does anyone feel sorry for them? Heidi and Spencer hopefully had a good time while it lasted, now they can be like everybody else in America that has lost income!
