Some are suggesting Snooki needs help with alcohol, not encouragement. Multiple sources came out this week and have said the news that leaked about Snooki’s hospitalization for alcohol poisoning wasn’t the first time she has drank to such excesses. Others are saying she needs help with a problem and MTV is exploiting her for ratings. Ouch.

U.S. website RadarOnline recently reported that Snooki had to be hospitalized back in May following a near fatal alcohol binge.
And, according to Jersey Shore sources this wasn’t an isolated incident. ‘Snooki needs help. She is a total binge drinker and doesn’t realize she is on the road to serious problems with alcoholism and addiction,’ said a show insider.
Show producers made the decision not to show the incident, despite their usual content of hard partying and drinking to excess. ‘While this is reality TV and pretty much anything goes, other members of the cast and show staffers are very concerned about Snooki — want her to get some serious counselling, if not total rehab,’ the source explained.
‘The problem is, this is contradictory to what makes Jersey Shore fun. It’s all about wild partying, and there’s lots of drinking.‘You can’t suddenly mix in a serious element and add a Celebrity Rehab angle. … Even though she needs help, that won’t be part of the show — at least for now.’
Oiy. If there are rumblings about this now, just wait until some alcohol awareness groups get ahold of the info. What will MTV do then? Will they cut Snooki off? Do you think Snooki needs help?
