Britney Spears’ Glee episode aired two weeks ago has parents upset. Why? They don’t like her music? Probably not, but the anger is mostly caused from the sexually explicit material and adult content. Ummm, that’s called life people!
The show apparently showcased her skimpy stage wear, suggested about the drug use of the people surrounding her and of course, the lyrics. From the New York Daily News:
The Parents Television Council blasted the hit Fox show for its “explicit sexual content” and “skimpy outfits,” calling the Britney-themed episode the worst show of the week.
The group said the episode was akin to an “endorsement of narcotics abuse, public masturbation and school-sanctioned burlesque.”
In the episode, Spears plays herself, appearing before the McKinley High Glee club singers who hallucinate about her while under anastheia by a dentist played by John Stamos.
Oh brother. I didn’t see the show, so I can’t comment if it was a big deal or not. Did you watch the show? Was it as scandalous as the parents make it sound?

Oh my lord parents are so dumb sometimes lol. Their outfits were completely fine. It’s just stage outfits like britney wore and nothing was wrong with it. The episode was funny and I don’t even watch glee and the britney episode is the only one I’ve ever seen haha. The cast did a good job of performing her songs. Those parents are just close minded people who I swear are a lil jealous
