Charlie Sheen was hospitalized today after he suffered a mental breakdown in a hotel room. Oh, Charlie. Always good for sensational, stranger-than-fiction story! According to reports, Charlie had just finished some father duties with ex-wife Denise Richards when he checked into The Plaza Hotel in New York City.
You know where this is going. Once in his hotel room he swiftly ordered up a prostitute, did some cocaine and then spiraled into a coke-fueled rage after he thought his wallet and cell were stolen.
Sheen trashed the hotel room, locked the hooker in a closet and passed out on the bed. At some point the front desk was called and the manager appeared and told authorities:
“She was fearing for her life and was naked,” a source told the website. “Charlie was incoherent but started screaming slurs at the cops. They recognized him immediately and gave him two options: they could take him to the hospital or take him down to the station. Charlie chose the hospital.”
More details surely to come, but at the moment Sheen‘s rep is saying he just had an allergic reaction to “medication.” Naturally, no official word on the booze, drugs and prostitutes.
