Christina Aguilera and husband Jordan Bratman have separated! There are no divorce proceedings at this point. The couple has a toddler, Max and are committed to raising him together.
A source close to the couple tells People, “Yes they are separated,” “Right now they’re just trying to figure things out. There are no divorce proceedings at this point.”
A source told People a couple months back, “They have their ups and downs like all married couples. They argue like everyone else,”
The couple were engaged in Carmel, Ca in February, 2005 and got married in Napa Valley, Ca in Nov. that same year.
It was very romantic when he proposed! It took place in a hotel room filled with rose petals, red and pink balloons and gift boxes, each containing a present and a self-penned poem.
Christina told People, “When I got to the last box, there was a ring in it,” “He got down on one knee and said, ‘Will you do me the honor of being my wife?’ I’ve been floating ever since.”
Yeah, it’s almost always romantic at the start but it’d be great if more of us can make it last, wouldn’t it?
