Courteney Cox was withholding sex from David Arquette. Today we learned that David and Courteney had separated after 11 years of marriage. While there have been rumors of the two drifting apart for months now, it seems the kicker was the fact that Courteney was no longer sleeping with him.
David Arquette appeared on the Howard Stern Show this morning to talk about it all and let everything out. It was practically a therapy session. As popeater.com reported:
“[Courteney] knows she’s not f***ing me, and she’s like, ‘Listen, I want you to be able to do whatever you have to do,’” he said. Arquette also admitted to sleeping with “the girl in the paper” — meaning waitress Jasmine Waltz — “once … maybe twice.”
“[She said] ‘I don’t wanna be your mother anymore.’ I appreciated that. I respected it,” he told Stern. “I’ve been going to therapy. I’m trying to grow up. I’m trying to be true to myself. Trying to figure out myself and my world, as is she.”
