Gwyneth Paltrow turned down a casting couch kind of experience for a movie role. Back when Gwyneth Paltrow was just starting out she admits that once she had a “casting couch” kind of experience. After a reading, she says she was told to meet some director for a few hands-on type of instructions in a private room.
She tells the November issue of Elle:
“When I was just starting out, someone suggested that we finish a meeting in the bedroom, I left. I was pretty shocked. I could see how someone who didn’t know better might worry, ‘My career will be ruined if I don’t give this guy a b*** j**!’”
Casting couch horror aside, it looks like Gwynnie’s career took off regardless. How many Hollywood actresses do you think have slept their way into a movie role?
