Heidi Montag’s mom is working as a maid to make ends meet. Darlene Egelhoff is so financially strapped that she’s cleaning houses. Where is Heidi?
Darlene opens up to Inside Edition, “I’m cleaning houses,” She’s been struggling financially ever since the restaurant she owned for 21 years in her native Crested Butte, Colo. went out of business.
Darlene says some of her employers recognize her from The Hills.
“That’s very humbling for me and I very much appreciate that experience because I don’t ever want to get full of myself and think I’m too good to do anything,” she says.
Heidi and her mom have not spoken in nine months due to a falling out over Heidi’s extreme plastic surgery.
Yes, I think that’s really humble of her and I wish her the best of luck in getting through this tough time.
