Justin Bieber wants to stop being compared to Justin Bieber. A 35-year-old Jacksonville, Florida resident who happens to share the name Justin Bieber with a certain tween pop sensation really would love it if teenage girls would leave him alone.
Bieber, the adult Florida version, says he is bombarded with fan mail. He says he gets anywhere from 2 to 10 letters a a day, hundreds (literally) of phone calls and was recently removed from facebook due to the management team thinking he was an imposter.
“Artists saying, ‘I am going to be working with you this weekend.’ I say, ‘No, you’re not, you don’t want to sing with me,’” he told the Jacksonville news station. “It’s not so bad,” he said. “It does not keep me awake at night, but I feel bad for little girls who want to send messages to their hero and it gets to this [points to himself].”
Wow. I don’t get the whole Justin Bieber hype – do you?
