Kanye West insulted Lindsay Lohan and her ability to create fashion. Actually, he compared her fashion line to the terrorist attacks of 9/11. Ouch.
Kanye hasn’t recalled his statements. Yet. but I imagine there will be a little pressure for him to apologize to her. After all, she IS in rehab. From the Hot Hits:
Speaking at the London premiere of his short film ‘Runaway’, Kanye said Lindsay’s line was, “[the] 9/11 for celebrities doing fashion. After that, I thought, ‘Well I can’t do a line now’.”
When asked later how his own rumoured line was going, he again insulted Lindsay, saying, “Did you not see the Lindsay/Ungaro collection?”
Kanye believes that celebrity fashion lines are looked down upon by the fashion industry.
And Kanye is probably right about that, for exactly what Lindsay did. Stuck her name on something, hoping to ride her fame to riches rather than produce great clothing. Do you think Kanye’s comments were fair?
