Are Kim Kardashian and John Mayer the hot new couple in Hollywood? Wowza – this pairing came out of left-field, no? I thought Kim K only dated buff athletes? And why John Mayer? She needs to give Taylor Swift‘s “Dear John” song a listen.
Anyway, perhaps the gossip rags are making a big deal out of nothing, but John and Kim did go on a date. They cavorted about New York City in a group. A snitch told Page Six:
“They brought along other friends, but the idea was to see if they would hit it off.”
I don’t see this one getting off the ground. I really don’t. Then again – John Mayer did date Jessica Simpson, so he clearly has a soft spot for the overly manicured and voluptuous. Neither rep would comment, but those rooting for them shouldn’t hold their breaths.
