Paris Hilton went political again. Remember when Paris did the spoof ad, mocking John McCain’s use of her name in talking politics? Well, Paris was pulled in to a political campaign again…and this time it isn’t so funny.
There is a re-election up for prosecutor in the Las Vegas area…you know, the one that let Paris Hilton off with a slap on the wrist according to the Times Herald Record:
Don Chairez, the Democratic candidate for district attorney, claims in a new television ad that Hilton got “a sweetheart deal” from incumbent Republican DA David Roger when she was given a one-year suspended sentence, fined $2,000 and ordered to serve 200 hours of community service after pleading guilty to possession of cocaine.
I don’t really think there’s any way to spin that in to a spoof. I bet Paris’ parents are livid that she got herself in to this much of a mess this summer. I bet after the drug incident, then the Asian embarrassment and finally a hit and run with a photographer, her parents told her to lay low. Seriously. Would you tell Paris to clean up her sloppy work?
