Russell Brand tried to get a herd of tigers to attack the paparazzi before his Indian wedding. As we all know, Russell Brand and Katy Perry are set to wed today in India. Of course the media hounds have staked out the location and plan to snap away and sell to the major news organizations – but not if Russell has his way.
According to a few sources on the scene, Russell Brand tried to get a band of tigers to attack the shutterbugs following the couple. A few of Brand’s bodyguard’s hopped out of the jeep, punched the photographer, swiped his car keys, which left the men stranded to sleep with the kitties! The police report statement:
“The photographers have filed an official complaint of assault and all witnesses, including Mr. Brand, will be questioned about this. Police officers will be going to the hotel tomorrow to advise the alleged perpetrators of an arrest and that a case has been filed. It is certainly not a good thing because an Indian photographer has been beaten up in his own country by a foreigner. The photographer would like an apology and if the perpetrator is willing to apologize then we can take back the case.”
Yikes! Not even 24 hours in the country and they’ve already managed to get in trouble!

I have to admit I never thought they’d even make it to a wedding, but good for them. Russell has been looking for this all of his life, and I hope it works out. Bonus: Their anniversary is the same as mine.
