Taylor Swift Speak Now Album
Taylor Swift long-awaited for new album “Speak Now” has finally been released today! Oh mine, all those old boyfriends you better duck fast.. not just old boyfriends the loud mouths too.. do we know of one?
Swift apparently wrote all the material herself. She told Rolling Stone that each song is a different confession to a person.
The album includes the lead single “Mine,” as well as “Innocent” (a song seemingly about Kanye West, which Taylor sang at this year’s VMAs) and “Back to December” (a tune that seems to be an apology to an ex, Taylor Lautner). So not every boy is bad in her books afterall.
“Dear John,” it’s an almost seven-minute rumination on an older man – rumored to be John Mayer – who almost broke her spirit. Swift’s voice soars on the track. “My mother accused me of losing my mind/But I swore/I was fine,” she sings. “Don’t you think I was too young to be messed with/The girl in the dress cried the whole way home.” Uh-oh John what really did you do to Taylor?
Future boyfriends including possible existing boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal, I say be careful not to mistreat Taylor otherwise there’ll be a song about you!
