#5882711 Media outlets were overwhelmed by the almost simultaneous reports of separation and pending divorce of celebrity couples Courteney Cox and David Arquette, Laura Dern and Ben Harper and Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman. Despite the constant recurring theme of destructive relationships in Hollywood, the 48-hour flurry of reports over the end of these three particular relationships seemed eerily coincidental. With a connection already in place between the Cox-Arquette family and the Dern-Harper family, the timing seems uncanny that both would reveal the details of their separation so close to one another. Was this a well-timed out ploy by the publicists to diffuse the magnitude of the individual breakups or just a crazy coincidence?
