Courtney Love has now resorted to paying for dates. According to well-connected source in New York City, the wacky singer bid $17, 000 for a date with Adrien Brody during Paul Haggis‘ Artists for Peace and Justice fund-raiser for Haitian schools.
I know, I know – surprising, right? Who knew Courtney had that kind of cash? She must be still raking in loot from Nirvana copyrights. Anyway:
“Spies said Love got into a fierce bidding war with Gerard Butler over Brody at the bash, which also marked the opening of restaurant Salon Millesime at the Carlton Hotel on Madison Avenue. She also scooped up a walk-on part in Haggis’ next movie.”
You know Adrien Brody must feel mighty special to have several people willing to plop down thousands of dollars to share a cup of teat with him!
