A crazed fan sent Bristol Palin a fan letter with a white powder tucked inside. Wow – Bristol Palin is turning out to be the most polarizing member of Dancing With The Stars! Earlier this week, a “mentally ill” man shot the TV screen after her performance and the Internet has been aglow about how Palin doesn’t deserve to be in the finals.
While a rep for CBS can’t be 100% certain it was meant to alarm the studio, the FBI released this statement.
“The L.A.P.D., LA City and FBI Hazardous Materials officials responded to a report of a threatening letter containing white powder received at CBS Studios in Los Angeles,” a rep for the FBI explained. The powder may have been inside a piece of fan mail addressed to Bristol Palin, 20. “Initial field screening was negative for hazardous substances but will be transported to a regional lab for further testing. A joint investigation is continuing,” the rep said.
Alas, it was just talcum powder.
