Now you can take a Lady Gaga course in college..tripping! A professor and loyal fan of Lady Gaga is starting a course about the lady called “Lady Gaga and the Sociology of Fame” at the University of South Carolina!
As The Star reports, Mathieu Deflem is a sociology professor and a bizarrely loyal fan of Lady Gaga.What is the course about? Deflem’s course guide says “relevant elements of the social context of Lady Gaga’s rise to fame.” In normal-person language, that’s “Lady Gaga is so awesome.”
Deflem isn’t a newbie to teaching, he’s a 30-year teaching veteran, has travelled the world to see Gaga in concert 29 times in the past year, and met her five times. OM! He claims they’re on a first-name basis as he puts it in an article in a student newspaper.
