Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade!
The Macy’s Thanksgiving day parade in New York city is underway! The annual event has kicked off the holiday season in New York city since1924.
It is a-three-hour long parade featuring more than 100,000 participants, along with floats and giant helium balloons through the streets of Manhattan, New York ending outside the original Macy’s store in Herald Square!
Oh I wish I were there!
It is estimated that up to 50 million people are watching the parade on television along with a few million New Yorkers in the streets watching live.
Many celebrities come out to support the event including Jessica Simpson, Kanye West, Kylie Monigue & Victoria Justice.
