Marie Osmond opened up to Oprah about the tragic suicide of her son Michael Bryan (Michael Blosil) on February 26, 2010. Michael was just 18.

Michael jumped from the eighth floor of a Los Angeles building to his death leaving a note behind.

Osmond said,”When I heard him say to me, ‘I have no friends,’ it brought back to me, when I went through depression,” “Because you really feel so alone, and the hardest thing was, I told him, I said, ‘Mike I’m gonna be there Monday and its gonna be OK’ — but depression doesn’t wait until Monday.”

The mother-of-seven admitted to Oprah she’s second guessed herself about the incident.

This is heavy, you can’t blame yourself for the death of anyone even the closest kin.

Michael left a note explaining he intended to end his life after a lengthy battle with severe depression that left him, he said, feeling as if he had no friends and could never fit in.

We hope Maria will be okay but being a mom, I know you’re never going to be okay. Prayers for Maria and her family.
