Arnold Schwarzenegger said ”no one cares if you smoked a joint” on Jay Leno’s show last night. The Terminator actor turned Governor signed a bill last month that reduces the charge for marijuana possession of up to an ounce from a misdemeanor to a civil infraction which is like getting a traffic ticket.
California voters voted against Proposition 19 which would have legalized marijuana for recreational use.
Schwarzenegger is coming to the end of his term as Governor and was asked by Jay why he chose not to endorse either Meg Whitman or Jerry Brown for governor, Schwarzenegger joked that he “couldn’t understand the accent,” “I just wanted to stay out of it.”
He declined to tell Leno who he voted for.
“I think that’s private,” he said. “This is between myself and the person Maria tells me to vote for.”
Arnold talked about how he came to this country and made so much money, he was very grateful! What’s next Arnold? Some more Terminators? Perhaps not ha? A bit too mature looking for that now? Do you see Arnold doing more action flicks once he’s retired from politics? Or perhaps some chick flicks? Hey Jack Nicholson is good at that so why not Arnold?
