Celebrity breakups of 2010! Yes, there have been lots of breakups for the year! And we are sick of reporting them. Hopefull in the new year to come, there WON’T be anymore breakups! Wishful thinking, isn’t it? But we are always trying to stay positve!

Carey Mulligan and Shia LaBeouf - Carey, 25, and Shia, 24, met on the set of Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps. They dated for about a year went went their separate ways in October, 2010
Courteney Cox and David Arquette - Courteney, 46, and David, 39 have been married for 11 years. They have a daughter named Coco Riley. They announced their trial separation on Oct 11, 2010. Do you see them patching things up in the future?
Sandra Bullock and Jesse James – Bullock and James split shortly after Jesse’s infidelity scandal arose when several women claimed to have had affairs with him. Sandra and Jesse were married for almost 5 years.
AnnaLynne McCord and Kellan Lutz – the 90210 gorgeous AnnaLynne and her on-and-off Vampire hunk have called it quits probably sometime in October. She’s already moved on with another handsome man, a model, Aaron O’Connell.
Christina Aguillera and Jordan Bratman – after 5 years of marriage, Christina filed for divorce in October. Christina has been seen all over town parading a new man, Matthew Rutler. They met on the set of her new movie “Burlesque,” Matthew was working as a set assistant for the film.
Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren - The golfing great’s infidelities came to light Thanksgiving 2009 and since then many women had came forward claiming sexual relationships with Tiger. Tiger and Elin finalized their divorce in August, 2010.
Madonna and Jesus Luz - Not to worry, he’s now a very high-paying DJ in NYC thanks to The Materialistic Girl. As for Madonna, 52, she’s already got herself a new boytoy: another 24-year-old, Brahim Zaibat.
Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes – Kate and her director husband announced their separation in March 2010, they have a 6-year-old son together. Kate had a rebound boyfriend, model Louis Dowler shortly after the split and has recently called it quits with boyfriend.
Blake Lively and Penn Badgley – The Gossip Girl co-stars ended their three-year romance back in September.
Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish - The two began dating in 2007 and some say their romance began on the set of “Stop-Loss” while Ryan was still married to Reese Witherspoon. They called it quits in February.
Charlize Theron and Stuart Townsend – Charlize and Stuart split in early 2010.
Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy - The funnyman and his nearly 5-year live-in girlfriend called it quits in April, 2010.
Eva Longoria and Tony Parker – Eva filed for divorce from her NBA husband, Tony in November. Reasons? He’s allegedly been cheating on her.
And in less than a month we welcome the new year and we embrace it with happiness and love. We hope to never report another breakup again!
update: that hope didn’t happen, as of today December 14, we have a few more power couples who have called it quits including Scarlett Johansson & Ryan Reynolds and Zac Efron & Vanessa Hudgens!
