David Beckham got a new tattoo right before receiving a lifetime achievement award at the BBC sports personality of the year event on Sunday night.
Becks, the hunky soccer ace already has around 20 tattoos, got his latest ink on his chest before flying from Los Angeles to receive the honor in London.
‘I want to let you all in on something. Just had a new tattoo done by the legendary Mark Mahoney. Took six hours!,’ David posted on his Facebook.
David also posted after the BBC event, ‘Last night was incredible, I want to thank all of you for your support over the years, you have given me so much encouragement. Don’t worry, this is only the beginning. There is more to come.’
