Elizabeth Hurley’s alleged lover Shane Warne made a statement on his blog. As we know Hurley announced her split from husband Arun Nayar on Twitter yesterday shortly after the cheating rumor hit the Internet.
Shane Warne, the cricket legend also made a statement on his blog today. Shane who’s married with kids just posted on his blog that he and his wife had separated “a while ago.”
Shane, Sadly and unfortunately, Simone and I split up a while ago, our close friends and family were informed at that time. It is a private matter so we did not make it public. We remain friends and will continue to be good parents.
No one is denying the cheating allegations. We never know what goes down in a relationship but from what we’ve been seeing over the years, Arun has played an important part as a step-dad to Damian. But as we know too well, kids (no matter how much we love them) can’t hold a relationship when it’s broken, can they?
If both Liz and Shane have indeed broken up with their spouses before their get together then I wouldn’t even label it as cheating.
