Joe Francis confirmed the ending of his relationship today. What a joyous way to ring in 2011, right? While we reported a few days ago that his marriage to Christina McLarty was on the rocks neither party had confirmed or denied the allegations.
Today Francis issued a statement that sounds (as Dlisted.com points out) suspiciously like Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson‘s split up prose.
“After careful and thoughtful consideration on both our parts, Christina and I have mutually decided to end our relationship. We entered into our relationship with love and it’s with love and kindness that we leave it. We wish each other the best for the future. There was no divorce and there will be no divorce because the couple was never legally married.”
Never legally married, eh? At least Christina did something right in this situation!
