Julia Stiles denies that she wrecked Michael C. Hall’s marriage to Jennifer Carpenter. In a situation that just reeks of “awkward” Dexter co-stars Hall and Carpenter met on set and later married. Julia Stiles was then cast as Hall’s lover and – bam – his marriage crumbles. Everyone assumed (and some inside sources confirmed) that Julia Stiles was the reason.
Not so, she says.
“I have absolutely nothing to do with the split between Michael and Jennifer. We are good friends and enjoyed working together. This is a personal matter between them, and we should respect their privacy. Although I too prefer to keep my private life private, I felt compelled to dispel the rumors I was somehow the cause for this matter.”
Hm, I still think there may have been some hanky-panky going on behind the scenes between those two. This is eerily similar to when Angelina Jolie denied that she played a part in the split between Brad and Jen.
