Lady Gaga was named the most charitable celebrity of 2010. While preparing meat dresses, channelling ghosts and planning weddings (all the top Gaga stories of the year), she was also raising awareness and money for social causes.
Gaga earned the top spot from DoGood.org due to her ‘Don’t Ask Don’t Tell’ repeal campaigning, same sex marriage views and HIV/AIDS prevention.
Gaga was also one of the featured performers in Alicia Keys ‘Digital Death’ campaign, where she and half a dozen other celebrities unplugged their social networking until raising $1 million for HIV/AIDS awareness.
So who also placed? Alicia Keys, Justin Bieber, Nick Jonas, Taylor Swift, Matt Damon, Oprah Winfrey,Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, Leonardo DiCaprio and Ellen Degeneres.
