Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has been named Time’s Person of the Year. Zuckerberg, 26, made the announcement on his Facebook page earlier.
Zuckerberg said, “Being named as Time’s Person of the Year is a real honor and recognition of how our little team is building something that hundreds of millions of people want to use to make the world more open and connected. I’m happy to be a part of that.”
Mark Zuckerberg was chosen as Time’s Person of the Year because he “created an empire.”
Yo I love Facebook. I have reconnected with at least over 50 of my old pals all through Facebook!
Cogratulations Mark! You totally deserve the award! Now why couldn’t I start something like that?
Have you guys seen the movie “The Social Network?”

Well, I have very mixed feelings about Mark Zuckerberg. I enjoy facebook because it lets me reconnect with family members that live far away, but we all know he started getting rich by selling our private information to marketing agencies. Much of his income still comes from marketing agencies. Good for him, but I think somebody should keep him in check. If this were 20 years ago, it’d be like somebody going into my mailbox (snail mail, of course), opening all of my letters and bills, making a million copies of them, and posting them around town for everyone to see. Just think about it.
