Nicole Richie and Joel Madden got married! It all went down on Saturday at Richie’s father, music legend Lionel Richie’s estate in Beverly Hills on Saturday as expected. But there was a very special guest among the invitees!
There were approximately 150 guests at the party but one attendee really stood out: a trained elephant!
Not sure where the elephant fit in as of yet but the rest seemed very traditional.
“They wanted an Old Hollywood, glamorous feel to their wedding,” a source tells People magazine. “They’re going all-out with the decor. Nicole wanted a memorable, elegant affair for only their closest friends and family on their special day.”
Among the guests were Joel’s twin brother, Benji Madden, Sam Ronson, Khloe Kardashian as well as Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale.
The couple started dating in 2006, they have two adorable children together: Harlow & Sparrow.
