Nobody knows for sure why the couple called it quits, with some reports saying she did it and others saying it was mutual due to busy schedules that left no time for marriage.
Adding fuel to the rumor that ScarJo was the one to pull the plug, a source recently told the media that she was seen having a breakdown of sorts earlier this week before the announcement.
Jersey Shore’s Ronnie was indicted yesterday by an Ocean County, New Jersey grand jury on assault. Way back when (i.e. September of 2009), Ronnie was acting the fool in a Jersey bar and ended up hitting Stephen Izzo.
Stephen Izzo promptly got his tighty’s in a twist and sued Ronnie, MTV and the Jersey Shore’s producers.
So what’s next for Ronnie Ortiz?
Well, if all goes as Izzo has planned he could serve up to 5 years in state prison.
Jake Gyllenhaal bought Taylor Swift an $11K guitar for Christmas. The two lovebirds who met and started dating in October seem to be going strong, with Jakey buying Taylor an uber-expensive guitar for her birthday. Wow – isn’t it a bit early in the relationship to be exchanging such pricey gifts?

Lindsay Lohan’s latest controversy involves a possible restraining order against a paparazzo who’s stalking her. Lilo‘s had a roller coaster year – in and out of rehab – and a tabloid favorite, making pictures of her especially valuable.
In response, one paparazzo has taken to following Lindsay where she goes in a “tinted Prius” and yelling harassing things at the actress whenever the car she’s riding in stops.
