Rihanna and Matt Kemp Split
Rihanna and Matt Kemp called it quits. We reported a few weeks ago that the couple has parted and rumor had it that Kemp was bringing girls home behind Ri Ri’s back.
So now an insider close to Rihanna, 22, tells US magazine that the couple has indeed called it quits after almost a year together.
“It happened over the last few weeks,” explains the source. “She basically was just over it.”
“He just can’t keep up with her crazy travel schedule.” “Matt’s sick of always following after her like a puppy dog all over the world. He wants something more normal.” The source added, “It was never as serious as it looked. It was always just [about] having fun.”
In June, Rihanna said of Kemp: “I’m so happy. I feel really comfortable and it’s so easy. [The relationship] is just my peace. It keeps me sane.”
Kemp, 26, the Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder helped Rihanna move on from Chris Brown, who infamously assaulted her in February 2009. The duo were first spotted frolicking together in Cabo San Lucas last January almost a year ago.
We just came out with out with Celebrity’s New Year Predictions for 2011 and we are predicting that Rihanna will step out with a new man in the coming year! So far so good.
