Scarlett Johansson, source say, is the one one who was fed up with her marriage to Ryan Reynolds and officially wanted the divorce. ScarJo and Ryan Reynolds, two stars are probably too sexy for their own good, announced their separation this week and since then we’ve all been scratching our heads wondering what went wrong.
While their rep has been making it sound as if they split mutually, friends say it was Scarlett who wanted to divorce and Ryan even tried to mend things.
“At first it was … let’s fix this,” the source says. “And then it got to the point where it was just, if it’s not working, it’s not working. He’s an adult, and he finally just said they should stop. She’s young, and that played into how she’s able to deal with things. They’re doing it this way because there’s no drama, there’s no cheating, there’s no nothing. These are just two people who love each other who are not going to be together anymore.”
The source continues and says both parties are “sad” but know this is for the best.
