Vanessa Minnillo shot down the rumors that she and Nick Lachey are getting married on New Years in Italy. Yesterday, Lachey joked to Racheal Ray that he and Vanessa may very well tie the knot in Tuscany, and the future Mrs. has said this is NOT happening.
Instead, she and Lachey want to enjoy a long, relaxing engagement.
“He was joking, we’re not getting married in Italy. I think that’s the game of telephone, he said it sarcastically. We’re enjoying the bliss of it,” she said. “I feel irresponsible for not having a date, but someone made a great point, when you’re dating everyone is always asking when you’re getting engaged. When you’re engaged everyone is always asking when you’re getting married. When you get married they start asking when you’re going to get pregnant. Instead of keeping up with the Jones’, we’re just enjoying it.”
Amen. In other news – would any of us care about Nick and Vanessa had he not been at one time married to Jessica Simpson?
