Jessica Simpson has gotten noticeably more plump in the past year and some say she’s been purposefully packing on the pounds. You see, Jessica (they say) has plans on becoming pop culture’s next big weight loss spokesperson and needs to get nice and fat before she gets skinny again.
Honestly, nothing about Jessica Simpson would shock me, but I hope for her health’s sake this rumor is untrue.
The print version of the National Enquirer wrote:
“Jessica, who has been adding weight in recent months, packed on another 10 pounds over the holidays. She’s now up to about 140 pounds, says a source close to her, and Jessica wants to follow in the footsteps of Valerie Bertinelli and Jennifer Hudson, who transformed their bodies while becoming diet spokespersons. “Jessica’s convinced that becoming an endorser for a company like Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers or Slim-Fast is her ticket to success,” an insider told The Enquirer.
The article goes on to say Jessica wants to reach her peak weight and then slim down for a big wedding moment where she’s at her skinniest. This makes sense. You best believe J. Simp wants the cover of a major weekly when she does decide to tie the knot.
