Kanye West is being sued by a photographer who claims he and his crew physically assaulted him in 2008. Michael Vazquez, a New York-based photographer, says he was hired to cover some party at midtown hotspot Gustavo’s in May of 2008.
At the party, the 25th anniversary of the debut of the Casio G-Shock, Vazquez asserts he was “assaulted, battered, beat and threatened” repeatedly by West and his entourage.
“The actions by defendants Kanye West’s agents, servants and/or employees was committed with malice,” the suit says.
There’s no word as to why West and his dozen henchmen would bully the photographer.
Regardless, this isn’t the first time Kanye West has found himself in legal trouble due to run-ins with shutterbugs.
