Lindsay Lohan Faces Jail Time
Lindsay Lohan could face jail time of 180 days even though she’s left court-ordered rehab yesterday. Police in California said LiLo has violated her probation. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elden Fox has said if Lohan violates any rules of her rehab program or fails a drug test before her court date on February 25, she will be sent to jail for 180 days.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said LiLo violated probation when she allegedly scuffled with Dawn Holland, a former staff at the Betty Ford Center while she was undergoing the three months court-ordered substance abuse rehab.
Authorities plan to send their investigation result to the DA’s office later this week to decide if Lohan should face battery charges — even though Holland has said she will no longer cooperate with the investigation and does not want charges filed, the department said Monday.
Lohan checked into the Betty Ford Center on September 27 and was released yesterday after spending over three months in rehab.
Lindsay is expected back in municipal court on February 1 for a review of whether she has fulfilled the terms of her probation.
LiLo’s probation FYI does not end till August of 2011.
