Bret Michaels had a heart surgery Monday to close a hole in his heart. Officials at a Phoenix hospital say rocker Bret’s surgery was successful.
A surgical team at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix performed the procedure Monday. A spokeswoman for the hospital says Michaels is recuperating and remains in the hospital’s intensive care unit for observation.
Doctors discovered the hole in Michaels’ heart back in April when he was treated for a brain hemorrhage.
A woman jumped off the 23rd floor of a Buenos Aires hotel today and she lives! She landed on a taxi cab in a sitting position!
The 33-year-old Argentine woman was immediate rushed to a nearby hospital after the apparent suicide attempt and is being operated on for internal bleeding, broken hips and ribs. Ouch!
Taxi driver Miguel Cajal said he got out of his parked taxi and ran for safety when he saw a policeman looking up at the woman, who was on an upper floor of the Panamericano hotel in downtown Buenos Aires.

Sophie Monk Engaged
Sophie Monk is engaged! Monk announced on the radio earlier today that she’s engaged to Jimmy Esebag. Esebag is more than 20 years older than Monk, 31. Esebag proposed at her favourite LA restaurant. (See Jimmy photo in image gallery below)
Jimmy is chairman of the board of America’s Licencing Holding Group, which owns the rights to the Playboy brand and is also involved with the Elite Modeling Agency.
Monk has recently describe Esebag as her best friend and soul partner.
