RACHEL BILSON Biography
Rachel Bilson grew up in California; Bilson‘s father, Danny Bilson is a writer, director, producer; and her mother, a sex therapist. Rachel made her TV debut in 2003. Believe it or not, Bilson was once a troubled teen until she ended up in a car accident with some of her brother’s friends’ that experience changed her and stopped her from getting into trouble.
She rose to fame for her role as Summer Roberts on the prime time drama series, The O.C.. The O.C., AKA “Orange County, California” is a TV series about a seemingly tranquil paradise; a rich, ocean-front community. As Summer Roberts in this series, she was always in the mix of drama and romance.
Bilson made her film debut in the 2006 film The Last Kiss, and had a leading role in the 2008 action/science fiction film Jumper. In the fall of 2011, she is starring in a TV show, “The Hart of Dixie”, as the star Zoe Hart.
Bilson is known for her fantastic fashion sense, with closets full of top-of-the-line designer clothing. She also has her own clothing line which she began in 2008, the Edie Rose collection. Perhaps because of her reputation as a “fashion junkie”, her home as been burglarized several times.
