The New York Jets Quarterback Mark Sanchez is dating a 17-year-old high school girl, Eliza Kruger from Connecticut. Eliza isn’t just an ordinary teenager. Her father is the famous Connecticut hedge funder Konrad “Chip” Kruger — very very rich!
According to today’s Deadspin.com Sanchez, 24, and Kruger have had dates at the famous Nobu restaurant in New York City and even overnight stays in Mark’s New Jersey home.
Eliza bragged about receiving text messages from “MARK F–ING SANCHEZ” on Facebook.
The duo met at NYC nightclub Lavo on New Year’s Eve.
“You know I’m 17, right?” Eliza’s first conversation with Sanchez, 24, as she recounts it to Deadspin.com.
“Well, we can still talk, but I can’t see you until you’re 18,” Mark replied.
“17 is legal in New York,” Eliza told Mark.
Eliza told Deadspin.com: “We went back to his place in Jersey after dinner. He lives on a golf course. There was a big storm.” Eliza also took pictures of a bed allegedly inside Mark’s bedroom as proof.
She told Deadspin that she had hooked up with Mark.
As for her being a minor, Eliza did her research: 17 is the legal age in New York and 16 in New Jersey. So Mark’s lucky that they didn’t hook up in California where the legal age of sexual consent is 18.
“He’s a really nice guy, you know,” Eliza told Deadspin. “He’s one of the kindest people, and he’s a genuine person.”
No Mark Sanchez wasn’t cheating on Jamie Lynn Sigler. The two split over the summer.
