Bing, the decision engine from Microsoft, its users pick Lady Gaga’s Fame Monster to win “Album of the Year” and Justin Bieber as “Best New Artist”
According to recently-released data from Bing, interest in this year’s Grammy Awards is up 200%, and you can thank the night’s most highly-anticipated performers Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber for that. “The Biebs,” who was searched 5 times more than his fellow nominees, is predicted to win “Best New Artist,” whereas searches from Gaga’s “monsters” put her more than 50% ahead of her fellow “Album of the Year” contenders. Despite a consistent Billboard chart presence with their hit “Need You Now,” Lady Antebellum was no match for Eminem’s “recovery” with his hit single “Love The Way You Lie.” The powerful duet was searched more than 70% out of the “Song of the Year” nominees, making it the clear winner.
